Loading your Presto card
- Online at prestocard.ca.

- In person at a OC Transpo Customer Service Centre, or at either the City Hall, Kanata or Ben Franklin ServiceOttawa Client Service Centre, at a Ticket Machine and at participating Shoppers Drug Mart stores.

Right now, a new and improved version of the PRESTO app, which features full instant load capabilities, is available for download. This means that all mobile users – whether they have an Android or an iPhone – can now instantly load funds and passes onto their PRESTO card.
Can I use someone else’s PRESTO card?
Yes, PRESTO cards are transferable between riders. If you are using a card that has a Child, Youth or Senior fare type, you must also be eligible for any discounted fares set on the card. A child, youth or senior may use an adult’s PRESTO card to travel at full adult fare.
Do PRESTO funds expire?
PRESTO cards no longer expire, even if there is an expiry date shown on the card (you may continue to use your card even after any indicated expiry date). A fee in the amount of $0.25 will be charged to your PRESTO card upon the next time you load funds on the card.
Can I load my PRESTO card with cash?
Please note that period passes can only be purchased via debit or credit card online; however, it is possible to load a period pass on to a PRESTO card at the Customer Service Outlet of your desired transit agency, using cash, debit, credit or from funds on your PRESTO card.
