Does SDSU have school spirit?
The new stadium will only be two trolley stops away from SDSU’s main campus, giving students an affordable option to get to and from the game, decreasing the chances of drunk driving. Aztec Stadium will reinvigorate school spirit on campus and specifically excitement for the football team.
Does SDSU have a dance team?
The SDSU DANCE TEAM began in the fall of 1998. Since then, the team has grown and is nationally ranked within the competitive collegiate dance community. The Dance Team is proud to be a part of the Marching Aztecs and enjoys performing with them at home football games.
Does SDSU have a gym?
There are many choices for fitness and fun – the Aquaplex (swimming pool, see below), rock climbing wall, cardio and weight room, and tennis and racquetball courts. Team sports include soccer, tennis, basketball, and more. Visit arc.sdsu.edu for more information.

The Aztec Warrior becomes official through a referendum vote of students and alumni. SDSU debuts “Zuma,” a jaguar mascot, at football games. The mascot is retired in 2012.

Sports with both varsity and club-level teams at the university include baseball and soccer among men’s sports, and lacrosse, soccer, volleyball and water polo among women’s sports.
What kind of person should not attend SDSU?
If you are not artistic or open-minded you should not attend The New School University. The students here must be self-motivators and responsible for their work. If you need some one to babysit you and constantly remind you when and what things are due this is not the school for you.
