FCCLA offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students to pursue careers that support families. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.
How to register for the FCCLA star events?
Only one submission per entry (team or individual) is required. Email [email protected] with any STAR Event questions. An individual event – recognizes participants who demonstrate their baking and pastry skills through the preparation of a quick bread, choux pastry, cookie, and shaped yeast bread.
Who are the members of the Texas FCCLA?
Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, careers and communities. Texas Association, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is made up of diverse members from across our diverse state.
Can a teacher be a member of the FCCLA?
Once the state and national dues are paid, the student will be an official affiliated member. Teachers can join FCCLA too! Teachers certified to teach Family and Consumer Sciences education, or as determined by the state department of education, can serve as the FCCLA chapter adviser.
